Well, it has been a little while. I was informed that if I didn't update soon I might be outed from the blogging world. ;) So, since we've seen you last lots has happened. We have added to our family one precious piece of cargo. Layla Marie Nolan. She arrived on Dec. 4 2009 @ 9:19 am via c-section. It was a very different experience from my first delivery, but everyone turned out happy and healthy. So overall success. Rylan is doing really well with the transition. At first he was showing definite signs of a confused toddler, but now is really showing a sweet love for her. He affectionately refers to her as "sissy," and has actually proven to be very helpful with her. I did find him in her crib with her the other day, which freaked me out a bit. But they were both seeming to enjoy it so, no harm done. Rylan is advancing his vocabulary everyday, and really getting to where he can tell us exactly what he wants. What a blessing to not be dealing with the language barrier as much anymore. Layla is doing very well. She ended up catching RSV from her big brother, and was hospitalized for 2 days. But now we are all home and healthy. Thank you Lord. She is a great eater and sleeps well also. We are getting good 6-8 hour stretches now every night. Another huge blessing. We really feel so blessed to have two happy and healthy children, that truly do enrich our lives more than we could have ever imagined.

Our terrible run in with RSV this year.
Little peanut in her shell

Just the beginning of many sweet shots of these two. :)
Well since you have heard from us last, a little bit has gone on.:) Rylan turned 1, we have taken vacations, had birthdays, and grown a baby to about 71/2 months. But things have been great. The Lord has been very faithful, and is continuing to show us his direction for our lives right now. Rylan is walking/running, and loving evry minute of his new found movement. We are having so much fun watching him grow and look forward to watching him adjust to his new little sister, Layla Marie, in just a few short months.

A dry run with this years costume!

"Me and my Nona"
Definitely Dylan's life long dream has been fulfilled,
working on the ol' Girl (the Bronco) with his son.

Happy Birthday breakfast with my two favorite boys.

My sweet husbands best surprise yet :)

I know I have been slacking a bit on the blogging. You all will have to bear with me, this pregancy is sucking the life out of me. :) But things are going very well. We are 10 weeks and counting. This pregnancy is flying by, I am really trying to enjoy every part of it. I know it is going to be over before I know it and I don't want to miss out on all the special joys of it. Rylan is doing wonderful. Growing up and adjusting to life faster and faster each day. It really does make me sad to see this time go by, but I am learning a lot about living in the moment. And soaking up all of the joys and the hardships that life is bringing us right now. The Lord is constantly showing us His faithfulness and we are thankful. Have fun catching up with us right now. :)
My little boy is almost one.

Rylan has decided every part of the house is going to be his,
including the dog bed.

"Rylan, wipe that smile off your face"

Jaime and I put together a little shin dig for the boys birthdays this year.
We all had a really great time and Salty Senorita was awesome to host all of us for the night.
We successfully turned our two boys 25 and 27 years old, congrats we are all getting old. :)

It was party time at Salty Senorita.

The two Birthday Boys
The two responsible ones for the night. :)
We still love you boys

Our first overnight get away without our precious bundle.

Cinco De Mayo mommy style.

For Cinco this year my mommies group had a little fiesta of our own.
Rylan was thrilled.

Happy Cinco!

Yes, under there is my little sombrero wearing white boy. :)

And... We have baby #2!

Still just a peanut.

Big Brother!

Yes, he has no idea what his hat says. But he is very excited to be a big brother.
He is definitely getting the hang of this move around thing.
Good time to ask Daddy how baby proofing is going? Probably not. ;)

Trying to be Helpful...

So yes, I just couldn't help it. He ate the yogurt and I had to kiss that little mouth.

Stylin'

Nice smile mom.

Easter Bunny

He strikes me as a little creepy. Rylan didn't pick up that vibe I guess.
I tried to get the bunny to talk, but apparently they aren't aloud to. Whatever :)
We got the opportunity to go to Pine Top for the week with some friends for spring break, and had an awesome time. I've never been really big on the forest, but it was fun time to spend hanging out with friends. The weather was pretty much perfect and we had lots of time to catch up and laugh. Can't go wrong with that.
Happy campers

Discovering the Playground

Sweet Boy

Hangin' in the hammock, literally!

So Dylan is I guess what you would refer to as a an avid mountain biker. Really loves it, has all the gear for it, and drives an hour to get to his favorite mountain. That's pretty good dedication, I think. But he is determined to get Rylan on a bike as soon as possible. So we took advantage of the amazing weather we have and hit the road for a nice long bike ride. I am more of a beach cruiser kind of biker, so we just road through some fun neighborhoods. But the weather was perfect and it was fun to explore new realms of adventure as a family.

Ready to Bike

We slightly underestimated the Arizona sun, so we fashioned a hat of our own. It got some good laughs from the other hikers. "Sorry Ry"

I am not sure if there is something more pitiful than watching your little one not feel good. But definitely watching them do the things that are suppose to make them feel better makes you even sadder. They look at you like you are doing this horrible thing to them, and you can't tell them otherwise. So yes, Rylan had a pretty good round of congestion that the Dr. ended up prescribing breathing treatments for. He really doesn't like it but is such a cuddle bug during it that I have started to like it. :)
